Deepii's Chassis is complete!

In a heroic effort, Phil, Andrew and I finished Deepii's chassis at 6:47 this morning, after working all night. Now she is loaded in the trailer, ready to go to be hot dip galvanized. The galvanization cost far less  than a paint job, and covers the inside layers of metal, which were exposed in the Acid Dip process. She will then have her exterior painted, and be ready for assembly when we return from Oregon Trail.

After a wasted day of traveling to Everett MA, it has come out why cars arn't routeenly galvanized. It will ad atleast 10% weight, and leave a rough surface over the entire car. Furthermore, the dip into 800 degree molten zinc could damage the chassis. And as a final kicker, they would have to vent all the cage tubes. Noone's drilling holes in my tubes.
