Monday, February 07, 2005 - Dannii is back in the shop and drying out. Now it's time to get Kylie ready. This one should be a cake walk. We tried the motor yesterday, and it started. After that everything else is just icing. It sounds like the rack might be bad too, but we couldn't run the motor too long before things got a bit dizzy. A special thanks to everyone who came by at the Sno* Drift. The only think better than roaring around an icy corner, is doing it in front of roaring fans. Sno* Drift marked the begining of a small 4 member team. Phil, Ole, Brian, and I worked together as a unit for the first time. We worked toghter so well that I simply can't vocalize the esteem I have for each member. But, this weekend also reminded me that while us musketeers may be the core of Paladin Rally, we depend on the enthusiasm and support that yall bring to rally. Fans make the mundain fresh, the difficult worthwhile, and the good exctatic. Racing needs people to care about the trial and finish. Thanks for caring. By the way, Paladin Rally finished 2nd at Sno* Drift. But, as Brian said, it's not about the finish, it's about the drive. I found I care about them both. Either way, I drove a flawless Ice Rally, and it earned me a second. Not a missplaced wheel the entire weekend. |
