The Paladin Rally Team had a strong showing at the Oregon Trail Rally this past weekend. The competition was some of the fiercest ever in Hillsborough Oregon, and the Tilimook Forest. Driver Matt Iorio came out strong, earning a fastest time on the Friday Night Stages at Portland International Speedway. Attrition was just as fierce as the competition. Top team after top team broke down due to the harsh race enviorment. The Paladin DPii car began to show engine problems. The engine development work has created a motor of extreme power, which has a tendency of just which parts are not up to the task of holding that power. DPii showed true meddle by struggleing on to the finish. The Fifth Place finish Virtually gaurantees that the Paladin team will be among the 2007 X Games Competitors. This will be the second time that Paladin is the coolest team in Los Angeles. The next race on the Paladin Schedual is Olympus Rally in Washington State. The team is currently on the west coast repreping DPii. For more information on the Olympus Rally, Visit, www.rally-america.com.
