Hello! I haven't updated the site in a while mainly because I've been buisy navigating my entry into small town politics. In my home town of Marlborough NH, the rumor got started that I was going to open a SuperCross track in my front yard. I don't even own a motorcycle. So the town responded by proposing an ordinance banning motorsports. There are an awfull lot of people in town with Snomobiles, OHRVs, and even a dirtbike or 100. So I've been trying to let them all know that if they don't show up to town meeting tomorow, someome might come knocking on their door and tell them cease and desist.
Anyway I'm not thrilled to see this. The sad thing is that the town just opened a new trail system that is maintained by the local Snomobile club. I guess it's destined to be a walking path. I might be totally exagerating, but it all depends on enforcement. With the language being that vauge and broad, anything that could be raced on is not allowed. Logging roads, class 6 roads, loops in your back yard, Parking lots where you could play with RC cars... There is no limit. I've got nothing against keeping a beautiful rural town, rural, but banning motorsports is like banning farming. 100 AW was crazy, I'll try to get the details on tuesday, and I'll tell you how this vote turns out.
