SVX Motor - 2011/04/02 17:23 Hey Matt,

I was wondering if you still have the SVX motor kicking around. I am (finally) getting on with my build, and am considering this as an ption. Thoughts?

Good to hear from you!

I no longer have the motor. I gave it to Phil a while back.

The SVX motor was a massively heavy thing, and would have been less responsive than a little turbo. Also, the wiring was a bear and totally custom. Finally Selecting a transmission to mate in is a tough series of decisions.

I really like the idea of the 6 cylinder, and the block is strong, however, it's a difficult build.

If you do go that route, let me know, it would be really cool to hear the story!

I have decided to nix the SVX motor, and keep with a high compression 2.5 motor. Nothing wild, but a bit of an upgrade maintining reliability is what I'm looking for, for now.

I have a couple questions about Paladin Rally, If you get a chance, could you shoot me an e-mail?
