Rally NY - 2006/03/31 20:28 Oh, I forgot to say, I'm running Rally NY. Ole was unfortunate enough to be forced against his will to test ride 6 different motorcycles, on the street and at the track, that weekend. Poor Baby

So I'll be driving with Josh Wimpey.

It'll be a low stress, low expectation type of rally. I just want to get back into a rally car, any rally car

(the fact that it's the sweetest rally car on the continent is a bonus

)

Re:Rally NY - 2006/04/02 16:46 I just got a lesson in what it means to be desperate.

The back cap in my tig froze, and dummy that I am, I tried to force it and it broke.

Phil and Andrew are coming in at 5 tomorow to get back at the chassis, and if I don't have a tig, the cage comes to a standstill. Nothing is open, and soone will ship. It was 4:30, and I started franticly driving, thinking where the nearest mall was, that might have a Sears. Sears carries the pro tig 185, and there is a remote chance that one could be in stock. It's not likley that thay would have a back cap, but if they had a display model, I could steal the back cap.

All this was going through my head as I was trying to think of where a mall might be, and in rural NH, good luck.

Then it dawned on me that instead of resorting to theft (which I seriously would have done) I could put a collet on the back of the torch body, wrap it in heat tape, then heat shrink, then electrical tape.

I rushed back to the shop, and put my improvised back cap into reality. Heat soaking will likley be an issue, and I turned up my gas just incase I have a leak, but We're still in buisness.

Is anyone else not sure what clocks they have that automaticly update, so thay are afraid to change any of their clocks? I have no friggen clue what time it is.

Re:Rally NY - 2006/04/05 02:35 its 3:26. I just washed my hair, face, and believe it ir notn my stinky feet, in the shop sink. I haven't been home in two days. I've tracked someone's tee shirt, and some old sneekers to use as slippers.

I only finished tigging the cage in a few minutes ago.

Back in College, when my current girlfriend and I broke up, it was because I misunderstood something she said to mean I had no drive. We got back toghter later, but that seemingly inconsequential event sparked something inside me.

It's a good thing I have her, because I'm so disgustingly dirty right now, no other girl would talk to me.

I'm sure of two things. First, I stink. Second, Deepii Is really beautiful. I just want to park her in my garage and buff her every day. Is it wrong for a man to want to give his car a good buffing?
