I suppose that's a bit inflamatory, but there was some drama over flywheels, door bars, and waterspray bottles.

There's a lot of speculation why Stig would not want to wrap up the championship so close to victory. I Didn't think they wanted to insult the US Rally field, money was unlikley an issue since they had origionally planned to run the full season, and wouldn't have needed to be in full competition mode to really take it. A rental rabbit could have done it.

No problem, here is what I was getting at:

  • Class: Open

  • Seed: 5

  • Car #: 558

  • Driver: Jim Cox

  • Origin: Hamel, MN

  • Co-Driver: Ryan LaMothe

  • Origin: Onalaska, WI

As for Stig, I had heard over the weekend that he was never really planning on competing at LSPR from the beginning of the season. From what I had heard, it wouldn't be a big deal for Stig to win the RA/North American Championship since he already has an essentially legendary WRC record, but it would mean everything to Patrick to win, so he was just going to let Pat have the victory as a good will gesture. Since Anna is paying for the season though, that sounds kind of interesting, but hearing that Stig is pissed off at Rally America is interesting as well.

Hmm, will the truth ever be known from Stig or Anna themselves or will this live forever in the annals of Rally racing history?
