Re:Pacific Forest Rally - 2005/10/11 16:43 I'll write a press release for it, but Here is the inside story... I'll be taking it easy, driving the Cascade Autosport Mitsubishi Evo 7. I've driven it in the Wild West Rally, and LSPR last Year. At LSPR I had a 3rd place finish. i was pretty stoked about that. With the Canadian championship out of reach there is no real reason to risk damaging yet another car, especially one that isn't mine. I'm still a little shell shocked about the past two races, but all that dissapears at the starting line. We'll be going 9/10ths so there's not much chance of . I'm planning on finishing behind Richard and L'Estage. Not exciting, but thems the facts.

Dannii is being prepared for LSPR. Her tranny went in a few minutes ago. actually her engine went in this morning too. Phis has gotten really quick about the assembly (and dissassembly) of the girls. I welded a few cracks in the unibody, and pounded a spot on the floor back. She'll be running Kylie's doors, and trunk. Her hood, roof, and left quarterpannel have wrinkles from the roll, which I don't have the time to get out. I have to get 2 more events out of her this year, before, well next year.

Re:Pacific Forest Rally - 2005/10/11 17:36 As long as they'll be ready and you'll be at LSPR. Should be a great event with all the close champoinships.

Re:Pacific Forest Rally - 2005/10/15 17:30 Hey, I don't have very much time. I'm in the middle of a 40 minute service at PFR. There is a cyber-cafe in Merrit, and I just stopped in for a cup of tripple go-juce. Hopefully i'll be able to tell you about my secomd place finish later, but I've got 4 slippery stages to go. Um... I'd better go check how long till our out time. Ciao.

Re:Pacific Forest Rally - 2005/10/16 15:36 Hey, I'm at the Vancouver Airport. This keyboard smells a little.

I'm thrilled to have been able to show results For the Cascade Team. Peter built a very clean, tidy, powerfull car, and it was suprisingly easy to drive it to the podium. Driving for someone else adds a whole new leve of responsibility to the game.

The race was decited pretty early. After Pat's subaru 5 speed broke, Antione just had to keep it one the road to win, I knew how hard I had to fight at Defi, and i wasn't aboutto try that this weekend. I'd expected to feel a lot of pressure from Tompson in the other gp N car, but it never really materialized. I had a flat on a stage, but didn't lose any time, and by the last 2 stages I feel really bad for anyone who came outto watch, becasue everyone at the top wasn't fighting, just driving to make it to the end.

Honestly, I coulden't have hoped for a better weekend. I've gotta get to Chicago...
